Too bad I’m several decades from English class and the expected first writing assignment, “What I did on my summer vacation.” The past three days would fill two pages easily. What I will say now is once again, God showed up and transformed a group of shocked and depressed rehabilitants into a laughing, joy-filled family during our visit and as a result of the practicums of the Bible study.
Picture me peeling potatoes with a 3-time jail bird and dancing at midnight to Russian techno-rock in my stocking feet.
I almost milked the cow…but couldn’t bear to get my new shoes in the stable muck. The rest of the story will come later…down the road. Although weary, I’m exhilerated. Each time I stay at the Salvation Center, I realize that rehab isn’t just for drug addicts. It’s for anyone who needs a fresh look at herself.
Yes, I mean me.

I can’t believe you didn’t milk the cow!!!!!
Dancing at midnight in your stocking feet. I wish you had posted a picture of that. OK on to more important things.
You are such a blessing to God for all that you do with the CrossRoads Ministries. The lives you help to change by putting people on the path God wanted them on from the beginning. I know you want no praise for this and all the Glory for God alone. But………He called many people for this mission and you answered. So you are a blessing to Him as much as He is to you.
Love ya lots.
Did you get the soup recipe?

Hiya sweetie,
It has been so interesting to keep up with what is happening on the other side of the world. Very cool stuff that God is doing with your obedience!!! I can feel the stretching He is doing in you and the growth is evident my dear. Good job staying so flexible so He can use you more effectively. Big hugs and congratulations on all the new adventures you have been willing to undertake. We will have to FINALLY get together for breakfast when you get back and catch your breath. Love, Lora
